South County Community Services Pantry and the Vicksburg District Library are working together to replenish the non-food items available at the Pantry.
“This time of year, when so many donate so generously to help those in need, we tend to forget that there is also a need for non-food items,” according to John Sheridan, library director. “We wanted to take an active role in helping to obtain toiletries and other non-food items for South County Community Services.
To help the Pantry acquire these needed supplies, the Vicksburg District Library is holding a raffle for a family entertainment basket. To enter the raffle, donors can bring in an item from the below list and fill out an entry form given to them at the front desk. They can enter as often as you wish, but every entry must be accompanied with an item from the needs list.
The raffle basket will contain two mugs with the library logo, hot chocolate mix, microwave popcorn and two DVDs for the family to enjoy. The raffle will begin on Monday, October 28, and run through Sunday, December 8. The drawing will take place on Monday, December 9at 10 a.m.

Toothbrushes Toothpaste
Shampoo/hair conditioner Deodorant
Razors Shaving cream
After shave lotion Hand/bar soap
Other toiletries Laundry detergent
Dish soap Cleaning products
