Who doesn’t love LOVE?  Well at least the notion of LOVE?  With the coming of the holiday that celebrates just that, the Schoolcraft Community Library would like to recommend a few Children’s Valentine favorites to consider reading aloud during this season of LOVE!

The Best Valentine in the World by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat—hands down the best book about Valentine’s Day ever!

Love, Ruby Valentine by Laurie Friedman  (this one has a sequel as well entitled Ruby Valentine Saves the Day!)—-a delightful heroine and her quirky bird who LOVES Valentine’s Day

Never Too Little to Love by Jeanne Willis and Jan Feanley—a sweet story demonstrating that size does not count when it comes to loving someone

It’s Valentine’s Day by Jack Prelutsky—-a collection of hilarious poems about kids’ adventures or maybe mis-adventures all around Valentine’s Day

Valentine Bears by Jan Brett—a Valentine classic with beautiful pictures from a favorite author/illustrator.

Ahhhhh!!!!! Enjoy!
