The 2014 Schoolcraft United Methodist Church Farmers’ Market will open for the season on Wednesday, June 4, and be open every Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. through mid-October.
This is the fourth year for the Farmers’ Market in Schoolcraft which is run by volunteers at the church.
Vendor applications are now being accepted. The fees are $10 a week for a 10×10 space or $100 for the season. New and repeat vendors are encouraged to complete the application form before the end of March. Nonprofit and fundraising groups may attend any day for no charge with advance approval from the church.
Several special market days are planned throughout the season, including a repeat of last year’s popular “Touch-a-Truck” and cool car day; arts and crafts fair; carnival (July 3); and Schoolcraft merchant appreciation day.
The market is located on US 131 at Clay St. at the church with the big red doors.
