The Reading Garden and the Butterfly Garden at the Schoolcraft Community Library will be dedicated on Saturday, May 17, at 1:30 p.m.
This event will include:
*Flag raising by Sons of American Legion
*Pledge of Allegiance by local Cub Scout troops
*Patriotic number sung by a local high school student
*Resolution read by Margaret O’Brien
*Ribbon cutting
*Thank you and dedication of donor plaque
*Opportunity to sign the “Declaration for the Right to Libraries”
*Cake and punch
*Balloon launch in honor of Butterfly Garden
*Dedication of Butterfly Way Station sign
Come join the celebration and enjoy the beautiful new space at the Schoolcraft Community Library.
These two gardens are the final phase of the building project begun in 2010.
