Area College Students Receive First Semester Honors

Three area students have been named to the honor roll for the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year at their respective colleges.

Named to the honor roll at Central Michigan University was Courtney Perry, a 2010 graduate of Vicksburg High School and the daughter of Rene Schreffler of Vicksburg and Rodney Perry of Portage. She graduated this year with a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Service Administration.

Also on CMU’s Presidential Honor’s list was Claudia Ramsey, a 2013 graduate of Vicksburg. A bio-medical major, she is the daughter of Mari and Ken Smith and Ed Ramsey of Vicksburg. At Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, Meg McGuire, also a 2013 graduate of VHS, made the Dean’s List. Majoring in neuroscience, she is the daughter of Shawn and Pam McGuire of Vicksburg.
