New Picnic Tables Donated to the Pavilion
The Modern Woodmen of America have donated eight brand new picnic tables from Meyer Wood Products in Paw Paw for the village to use at the new pavilion or elsewhere around town. They have been even more generous over the years, once they realized the need, Ken Schippers, interim village manager said. They have also donated trees to be planted in the recreation park, Historic Village. The Woodmen are a national insurance company, specializing in 401K, Roth IRA, and life insurance. The Angie and Tim Palomaki family took advantage of the seating at the Vicksburg Farmers’ Market to consume their meal prepared by the food vendors.
