The Vicksburg Farmers’ Market has been going strong since Friday, May 16. Each week brings more vendors to surprise the customers according to the five people above who help to run the market. Board members of the nonprofit market are from left to right: Maureen Wiertella, treasurer; Stella Shearer, co-manager; Kay Anderson, trustee; Carol LaFrance, president; Sue Moore, co-manager. Missing from the photo are Pat Hjertos, secretary, and Bob Smith, trustee. The market will be open on the 4th of July. It will be moving to the grounds of the Historic Village for Friday, July 25, when the Lions Club Summer Festival is in full swing.
