Ric Seager, New Schoolcraft Principal

sch principalRic Seager joins the Schoolcraft High School as the principal, following the resignation of Kristin Flynn. He has over 24 years of experience in the education field with a Masters of Science from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction; a Masters of Science from Western Michigan University in Secondary Administration /Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Math.

He began working in Michigan schools in 1990 as a math teacher and computer coordinator in

Belding. He continued his career in other districts as a math teacher, technology facilitator and school Improvement chair. He served as an elementary principal in Bronson from 2006 and in 2008 he became high school principal. Since 2010 he has served students in the Kalamazoo Public Schools as the Director of School Improvement and Assessment. Seager resides with his wife and four children in Kalamazoo.
