How to market a small businesses can be difficult for owners to figure out. Now there is a way to get professional help at a minimum cost, according to Kathleen Hoyle, the Downtown Development Director for Vicksburg.
In cooperation with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Western Michigan University, the DDA is offering a three-part marketing workshop to be held Monday mornings from 8 to 9:45 a.m. on February 9, 16, and 23 at the Vicksburg District Library.
The workshop will help business owners jump start the development of a marketing strategy for 2015 and beyond. It covers basic marketing tools, including setting marketing objectives, analyzing the current market, assessing where competitors stand and articulating a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
