Theresa Paddock began her new duties as clerk of the village of Vicksburg on July 6, taking the place of Tracy Locey, who had served in this capacity for two years.
She comes to the village office with a wealth of experience, having served as deputy clerk in Texas Corners Township for nine years. Her work experience was largely in preparing agendas and board packets for the township’s board, planning commission, and zoning board of appeals and records management for these entities.
Paddock lives in Oshtemo Township with her husband. They have two adult sons and two grandchildren. She said she has a passion for gardening, reading and the movies. She isn’t likely to have as much time for these interests in the near future with the heavy work load the village has put on her plate, according to Bill Adams, president of the Village Council.
