The craft show in Clark Park has been led by the Vicksburg Band Boosters as a fundraiser since 2015. They hope to enlarge it to 25 or 30 vendors to have a lot more variety for those wandering down to Clark Park during the Old Car Festival from 9 – 4 p.m.
Donna Cratsenberg-Scott is chairing the show with both street side vendors on W. Prairie and those resting in the shadier park area. All the money raised will go to replace instruments the band needs and for kids who can’t afford to purchase their own she said. The band is still paying off the 40 new uniforms it bought in 2015 to costume the increase members as the band has grown to 200 members.
