Featured Cars Will Be in Place at the Main Four Corners

Kissel 1One of the featured cars at the 2016 show will be Tony Pienta’s 1911 KisselKar D-11.  The car was made by the Kissel Motor Car Company, an American automobile and truck manufacturer that operated out of Hartford, Wisconsin from 1906 to 1931. The company built high-end automobiles, trucks, taxi’s, hearses and fire trucks and made trucks for the US war effort during World War I.

This 1927 Studebaker Roadster is owned by Bob Walby of Jackson. He is also bringing it to Vicksburg as a featured car.

This car is a 1963 Studebaker Avanti R1 with a 4 speed transmission and Studebaker 289 (not a Ford) cu In V8 owned by Larry Gardon of Quincy. The R1 refers to a NON supercharged engine vs a R2 which is Supercharged. The Avanti was made by Studebaker in 1963 and 1964 only. The Avanti name and rights were sold by Studebaker after that and they were still being made into the 2000s by numerous other companies.
