For those who love dressing up in costume for Halloween or just appreciate a good murder mystery, the Vicksburg Rotary Club’s fundraiser, Monster Mash, has something for everyone.
“Someone will be killed during the evening and it will be up to the attendees to figure out who is the murderer in their midst,” said Mary Ruple, who is co-chair with Larry Forsyth for the event on Saturday, October 15 at Jaspare’s Pizza Parlor in Vicksburg.
Those attending will be given a character to act out and become a part of the show experience which is orchestrated by Murder by Design, a Kalamazoo group that produces similar events at Henderson Castle.
Besides the intrigue, ticket holders will experience dinner in the new addition to Jaspare’s Pizza at 109 S. Main, beginning at 5 p.m. There will be a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle, a photo booth fundraiser with all the proceeds going to the Vicksburg Rotary Club’s good causes, Ruple said.
