Over $1,100 was raised for the Eagle’s Nest Friday Pack program thanks to the willingness of Schoolcraft school administrators and supervisors to dress up for the Ugliest Attire contest. The staff also donated $5,633 to its United Way campaign in October.

Staff of the school voted in the contest at a cost of $1 per vote. They could vote as many times as they wished for a dollar each, according the Kelli Meyers, the schools’ organizer of the contest.

“You can also find them on SCS Facebook page – great video of a great group of administrators and supervisors. I want to personally thank them for all that they do to support our district, even dressing in their very best attire,” she exclaimed.

There was a collection jar and a ticket for staff to write in the name of the administrator/supervisor that one thinks had the ugliest attire.

Parents or community members were also encouraged to vote in the Ugliest Attire competition. Voting took place October 20 and 21. The winner was announced the next school day. Drum roll: Dave Powers, Middle School principal, swept the board with James Weiss the runner up.

In addition, the administrator/supervisor who has the most amount of money in the Ugliest Attire competition won a pizza party for their building/department.
