Dennis and Joanne Hice of Schoolcraft, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary August 12 with an open house at New Hope Fellowship Church in Paw Paw. They were married on August 12, 1967 at Pleasant Valley church outside Schoolcraft.
Dennis is a graduate of Mattawan schools and Joanne from Schoolcraft schools. They have two children and one grandson. Christine Hice lives in New Mexico and Dan and Amy Hice along with Anthony live on a farm outside Schoolcraft. Dennis taught machine tool and auto shop and went into full time farming in the 1970s. Joanne worked outside the home at various banks and credit unions. Christine, Dan, and Amy invite the couple’s friends and neighbors to help them celebrate August 12. The church is located at 201 West Michigan Ave.
