Ray and Loretta Poulsen of Schoolcraft will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary from 2-5 p.m., July 2 with a meet and greet at their home at 11843 Heron Street, Schoolcraft.
They were married on July 3, 1947 in Jonesville. They met when Loretta was a student at Western Michigan University and Ray was just getting out of the Army after four years of service overseas with the infantry during World War II, serving in many battles. They made their home in Kalamazoo for a few years and moved to Schoolcraft in 1955.
He retired from Peter Eckrich Company. Loretta is a housewife and a registered occupational therapist who retired from the Kalamazoo Regional Hospital. They look forward to seeing all of their long-time friends. For more information call 269-384-9937 or email jp11935@gmail.com.
