4/9 – Vicksburg Chamber of Commerce Mixer 6 p.m. at Vickers Tavern. Public Welcome.

4/12 – McCowen & Secord Family Funeral Home Open House, 4-7 p.m.. Public Welcome.

4/15 – Sun. Talent Show and Italian Dinner Fundraiser at the United Methodist Church. Donate what you can to support the youth mission project. Begins 11:45 a.m.

4/17 – Gilmore Family Concert, 7 p.m. Vicksburg Performing Arts Center. Free

4/25 – Wed. Advance Care Workshop at the United Methodist Church. For more information or to sign up call (269)-649-2343

4/25 & 26 – Wed. & Thurs. United Methodist Women Rummage Sale at the United Methodist Church. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday.

4/20 – Fri. Coffeehouse Concert: Patricia Pettinga and Bill Willging at the Vicksburg Community Center. Refreshments Available. Tickets $6, order online at vicksburgarts.com or at the Vicksburg Cultural Arts Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., concert starts at 7 p.m.

4/29 – Sun. Crop Walk at the Vicksburg United Methodist Church. Walk the Vicksburg Trail and back, with a celebration at the end. All proceeds go to the South County pantry and mission work for the United Methodist Church. Looking for donations and walkers. Registration begins at 1 p.m., walk begins at 2 p.m. Call Danna at (269)-649-2901 for more information.

Schoolcraft

All month – the Library Hop in Schoolcraft and surrounding libraries.

4/4 – Paper City representatives will be the speakers at the Schoolcraft Historical Society at 7:30 p.m. at the Underground Museum.

4/9 – 4/14 – Mon. – Sat. Food for Fines for National Library Week at the Schoolcraft Community Library. Bring in a donation of a non-perishable food item for fine forgiveness.

4/14 – Sat. Mending Day at the Schoolcraft United Methodist Church. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

4/17 – Tue. Spring Art Open House at the Schoolcraft Community Library. Meet the student artists as well as art teacher Jaime Hilaski. Refreshments served. 5:30 -7 p.m.
