Demonstrating hard work and commitment, four young men from Pack 253 have achieved Eagle
Scout status. Many requirements are involved for these scouts who are already active in their school and local community: They complete 21 merit badges, are an active member of the troop, demonstrate the scouting spirit by living the Scout Oath and the Scout Law, complete an Eagle project and present it to the scout board for review. These scouts selected diverse projects representing their interests and local needs: Sam Schnepp build a raised garden bed for Generous Hands, Brendan Monroe upgraded the Little League’s batting cage, Elijah Bombich renovated the robotics lab at VHS, and Ethan Emmerich constructed the Outdoor Education Center (OEC) message board. Each scout organized the project and demonstrated leadership through the process.
