Schoolcraft runner Peterson signs with Purdue

Annika Peterson, Schoolcraft High School Senior, has signed a letter of intent to run for Purdue University Northwest where she plans to study business marketing. She hopes to become a market research analyst and own her own rental property company. Peterson was a four-year varsity runner on the Schoolcraft cross-country team, qualifying for individual state in her freshman year, earning all-conference honorable mention in her sophomore year, and again qualifying for the state team event in her senior year. She also was a fall dual athlete all four years, in addition playing golf in the fall. She is also a three-year varsity soccer player and a three-year member of the varsity track team. She has been involved in student council and is the senior class vice president.
