The Kalamazoo Conservation District will be providing scrap tire collections at no cost to Kalamazoo County residents on three dates this summer. Only unpainted passenger tires without rims will be accepted and businesses cannot participate. Appointments are required.
The event dates and locations: June 14, from 1-7 p.m. at the City of Kalamazoo parking lot at 322 Stockbridge Ave.; July 13 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Swan Park , 50 East VW Ave., Vicksburg; and August 8 from 3-7 p.m. at Perkins Tire Services at 8333 Woodin, Scotts.
