Zhang Senior Center Fundraiser to benefit South County area
Saturday, September 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Portage Zhang Senior Center is holding a 2023 Purse, Jewelry, and Accessories Sale at 203 East Centre Avenue in Portage. The event also includes a silent auction and prizes. All proceeds benefit the Senior Center and its many programs, classes, and activities that serve over 3,500. People can donate gently used purses and accessories by taking them to the Vicksburg District Library.
Our apologies and some clarity
In our July edition, the headline for a combined Villages of Schoolcraft and Vicksburg feature read “Schoolcraft Fire Authority buys new tanker truck.” The article that follows explains the South Kalamazoo County Fire Authority’s plan to purchase a new tanker with approval from the two villages and the townships, which is accurate, but the headline was not. We are sorry for the error.
