At the end of the season, the Kalamazoo Gazette chooses the best in the area for their dream team which included four Vicksburg Bulldog players. This year, the writers and area coaches also selected Coach Tom Marchese as their coach of the year.
Dalton Ketelaar was chosen as quarterback and Keenan Erb as the kicker for the dream team offense. On defense Jarrad Whited, defensive lineman was selected; and Conner Henderson, defensive back; got the nod. A close second team selection honored Nick Wallace, running back on offense, all Vicksburg players.
Josh Zemek of Schoolcraft placed on the second team defense, while Terry Haas was given second team coaching honors.
The Gazette selects a game of the week during the season for 11 weeks, with four of the weeks featuring Vicksburg vs. Paw Paw, Plainwell, Otsego, and Three Rivers.
