In February, a cheese ball can be a sweetie

February’s recipe comes from Howard Miller, who enjoys making various dips and cheese balls for neighbors and family gatherings.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

12 oz cream cheese, softened
½ C butter, softened
¼ t vanilla
¾ C powdered sugar
2 T brown sugar
¾ to 1 C mini chocolate chips
¾ C toffee bits or finely chopped nuts, if desired
Graham cracker sticks

Instructions:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add the sugars. Beat until combined. Cover and chill for 2 hours.

Form two balls (or one larger ball). Wrap in plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour.

Just before serving, roll the cheese ball in toffee bits or chopped nuts. Serve with graham crackers or other cookies.
