The donations for Friday Pack came with a $5,000 check from J. Rettenmeier USA.

Two Schoolcraft companies, J. Rettenmaier USA and On Purpose Branding, collaborated to fill boxes of items to be used for the Schoolcraft Friday Pack program, which provides individual-sized snacks and care items nutritional and personal needs.

The collected items are discreetly packaged for each child’s Friday backpack to be available over the weekend and after school. “We are proud to support our neighbors in this way and were able to contribute $5,285,” Rettenmaier said in a prepared statement.

The company has collected items for the program for more than a decade. “Employees, company-wide, participated by sending or bringing in supplies which will be used by children from eligible families.”
