There are no contests in Brady Township in the Aug. 6 primary.
Trustee Randy Smith is running unopposed for supervisor in the Republican primary as incumbent Supervisor Tracy Locey steps down. Democrat Melissa Wood, appointed clerk to fill a vacancy last year, is unopposed in the primary and will face Republican Reagan Hunter, also unopposed in the primary, in the November election. Elise Stephens is unopposed for treasurer as incumbent Malia Allgaier steps down. Seeking a nomination to four trustee positions are incumbent John Meyer and newcomers Rodney Stephenson, Lee Naplin and Todd Thompson. All candidates are running for four-year terms. Annual compensation is $43,349 for the supervisor, $40,960 for the clerk and treasurer and $1,620 for trustees.
