As April begins, so does activity at area Little League fields. John Gardner, Schoolcraft’s Little League president and Jon Rosselott, Vicksburg’s Little League president, shared some information for the community.
Opening day for both programs is April 26, and games will be held throughout the morning and afternoon. Schoolcraft’s teams play at Schoolcraft Township’s Swan Park while Vicksburg’s complex is right behind Sunset Lake Elementary.
Registration for both programs has closed, teams have been selected, and each president anticipates at least 300 participants.
As with all volunteer organizations, these programs would welcome help, whether it is completing umpire training, facility and maintenance tasks, or helping with concessions.
