The Great Waldo Celebration and Waldo Look-a-Like Contest took place July 23 during the Burg Bash at Gilbert and Ivy Bookstore, with owner Kimm Mayer as the event coordinator. 25 local businesses participated in the event that began at the beginning of July. More than 100 searchers went from business to business in Vicksburg to find Waldo and were entered in a prize drawing that took place the night of the celebration.
