Wrestling teams from Schoolcraft, Galesburg, Parchment and Allegan convened to compete at Schoolcraft High School.
Schoolcraft faced Galesburg first. Bryce Bozell, 106 pounds, lost in the 3rd period 5-9. Up next, at 113 pounds, Bryce Vancleve, won his match by forfeit. At 120 pounds Royce lost by pin at .036 seconds of the second period. In the126-pound class, the Eagles were given the win by Galesburg voiding to Garett Randel. Nyko Winebaugh won at 132 by pin at the .056 mark of the 2nd period. The 138-pound class was a void by Schoolcraft, giving Galesburg the win at that weight. Jamison Hunt, 144 pounds, lost by pin. Lucas Nora, 150 pounds, for Schoolcraft, won by pin at 1:02 left in the 2nd period. Brock Drewyor at 157 pounds lost 11-4. The 165-pounder, Saxon Abfall, lost by pin. Darius Hill, 175, won by pinning his opponent. Kody Priest pinned his opponent in the 1st period in the 190-pound class. The 215 pounds match was a void by Galesburg. Asher Snyder, 285, gave a hard fight but was pinned in the end of the 3rd period. Schoolcraft won the overall match against Galesburg 42-36.
Next, Schoolcraft met Parchment. Parchment voided all weight classes up to 132-pound. Garrett Randel was up 13-2 at the end of the first period and won 17-2 by technical fall. Parchment had another forfeit at 138 pounds. Jamison Hunt’s match ended with a pin for Hunt and the Eagles. Lucas Nora led at the end of the 1st period 9-2 and won by technical fall. Galesburg voided at 157, and at 165, Saxon Abfall won by pin. Galesburg had a void at 175 and Kody Priest won by pin very quickly in the 1st period. Asher Snyder also won by pin in the 1st period. Schoolcraft won 76-0 giving the Eagles a 2-0 night.
