Friday downtown sidewalk sales downtown Vicksburg until 7 p.m., sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.

10/4 Fri., last day of the Vicksburg Farmers’ Market for the season 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 301 N. Richardson St. 10/5 Sat. Free Electronics Recycling event, Schoolcraft Township Hall, 50 East VW Ave. 9 a.m. to noon. Accepting all kinds of electronic gear to be recycled.

10/10 Th urs., Generous Hands, 3rd Fall Extravaganza, 6 p.m. Lakeland Reformed Church.

10/11 & 12 Fri. & Sat., Main Street Revue 2013, 7 p.m. Performing Arts Center, sponsored by the Vicksburg Community Association.

10/15 Tues., Vicksburg Historical Society program – 7 p.m. Vicksburg Community Center – speaker is Warren Lawrence on “How to Live Like a Millionaire.”

10/25 & 26, 11/1 Haunted House from 6-10 p.m. at the former Cole-Krum dealership, 343 W. Prairie St. 10/31 Th urs., Halloween in the village.

11/11 Mon., Veterans Day program in Oswalt Park – 11 a.m. 11/19 Tues., Vicksburg Historical Society program – 7 p.m. Vicksburg Community Center – speaker Gerald “Smitty” Smith on the history of trains that have passed through Vicksburg. 11/23 Sat., Downtown Chicago Bus Trip, sponsored by the Vicksburg Community Schools Foundation. Reservations can be made by calling VCSF offi ce at 321-1006.

11/23 The 20th Annual Vicksburg High School Project Graduation Arts & Craft s show at Sunset Lake Elementary School from 9:00am till 3:00pm. There will be over 70 vendors, a bake sale, free parking, face painting, and more. Sponsored by the VHS Project Graduation 2015. 11/15 Fri., Blood Drive at the Vicksburg United Methodist Church, 11- 4:45 p.m. December 12/7 Sat., Christmas parade sponsored by the Vicksburg Community Association – 10 a.m. downtown Vicksburg with Santa meeting children immediately following in the Community Center.
