The children of Charles and Vera (Snyder) Walker announce their parents’ 60th wedding anniversary. Chuck and Vera were married on February 17, 1962 at the Fulton Christian Church. They raised their children in Vicksburg. Both are active members of the Vicksburg United Methodist Church. Chuck retired from National Water Lift (Parker Hannifin) after more than 30 years. Vera retired from Vicksburg Community Schools and UpJohn (Pfizer). They currently reside in Portage. They have been blessed with three children, Cherie (Jim) Houghton, Connie (Rick) Miller and Scott (Heather)Walker. They have eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family plans to celebrate with a group vacation this summer.
