October was glorious in Michigan. And we all tried to enjoy each warm, sunny day, but how can it be that November is already here? We hope you enjoy our November edition of our community paper. There are so many things happening in South County, and we are pleased to continue our coverage.

Trust Shield Insurance combines offices

Effective October 25, the Trust Shield Insurance’s Vicksburg location at 301 N. Richardson has closed and moved to the Schoolcraft location at 452 N. Grand Street. Customers will see the same staff, and receive the same service, just in one building. The group’s commitment to and involvement in the Vicksburg Community will continue. Volunteers needed

Are you available once or twice a month on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 1:00? Then we need your help with the Wednesday Winners disabled adult program. Activities include exercise, Bingo, parties, trips, etc. Lunch is provided. For more details call Aurelia Reed 269-823-4995

Tom Horn turns 90!

Happy birthday, Tom Horn!

Former Vicksburg High School teacher, athletic director, and legendary coach turns 90 on November 23, 2024. He worked at Vicksburg for 33 years: he coached for 28 and served as athletic director for two. He then became athletic director at Glen Oaks Community College from 1995-2005. Have a great day, Tom!
