SPECIAL EVENTS
Area Agency on Aging (AAA3A) 7/17 & 8/21, 11 AM – 2 PM, free. A representative from the Kalamazoo County Area Agency on Aging 3A will be onsite monthly (3rd Thursday of the month) to meet with anyone who might need information, referrals or assistance for aging at home. Walk-ins are welcome or by appointment.
Art Class: Watercolor Series – In collaboration with Vicksburg Arts (VA) – 5/21, 6/18, 7/23, 8/20, 1-2:30 PM, Fee: $20 for each class. You have the option to build your skills at each class or you can join any class. Taught by Nancy Smith. Registration required.
Nature Photography: Anybody Can! – 6/18, 1-3 PM, Fee: $10 OLLI member, $20 non-member. Collaboration with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at WMU. Taught by Jeanne Church.
Lunch & Learn: Advanced Directives – 6/19, 12-1 PM, free. Learn from Sue Gilbert, retired RN. Bring a sack lunch for yourself. Light refreshments will be provided.
Senior Readers Theater: A Play on Senior Topics – 6/25, 2 PM, free. Collaboration with OLLI at WMU. Join your friends to watch two short plays highlighting issues that seniors encounter.
Art Class: Tree of Life Wreath – 7/8, 6-8 PM, Fee: $25. Registration required.
Lunch & Learn: Vicksburg Farmers Market – 7/17, 12-1 PM, free. Bring a sack lunch for yourself, light refreshments will be provided.
