Anita “Tia” Alene Olsen, age 80, passed away peacefully on the 10th of January 2026. Born September 24th, 1945 to Harry C. and Eula Miley.
Tia leaves behind her two children and their spouses Alicia and Todd Dorstewitz, Travis and Joanna Olsen and six grandchildren Aric, Elizabeth, Keely, Abigail, Christopher and Brenna. She was proceeded in death by her partner Gary Miller.
Tia was an outgoing individual who was never alone in a crowd. Able to instantly strike up a conversation with people of all backgrounds and beliefs. A genuine love of others and belief that everyone was good at heart permeated her life.
An avid seamstress Tia enjoyed quilting, knitting and making clothes. Truly talented in cloth she enjoyed many different artistic pursuits over her life. She passes on her love of quilting to her daughter Alicia.
Active in her neighborhood she tracked all the people and pets goings on. She enjoyed keeping up with politics and had no overt tolerance regarding utterly mean people.
