Please join the community for the 2026 Memorial Day ceremony on May 25. There will be a parade through the village beginning at 10 a.m. The parade begins at the Vicksburg Community Schools Administration Building, proceeds north on Kalamazoo Avenue to Prairie Street, west on Prairie Street to Main Street, south on Main Street to Highway Street, west on Highway Street to the Schoolcraft Township Cemetery (within the village limits). Following the parade, there will be a ceremony honoring all of our fallen veterans, presented by VFW Post 5189, the Vicksburg High School Marching Band, and Scout Troop 251. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m.
VFW Commander Jim Schippers, is looking for Memorial Day parade participants. If interested, please call Jim at 269-760-7391 by May 10 to discuss what you would like to enter which will help get all entries in the right order.
