There is no opposition in the Schoolcraft Board of Education election. Three incumbents are running for re-election to six-year terms. They’re Adam Haley, Katie Redmond and Jason Walther.

Katie Redmond
I’m proud to call Schoolcraft home these past 18 years. My husband, Rob, and I have two boys: Gabe, a recent Schoolcraft graduate, and Dean, a current fifth grader. We love this community for its deep roots, strong relationships, and remarkable schools.
I earned a degree in biology from the University of Michigan and am celebrating my 16th year as the owner of K. Redmond Photography. My passion for growth, giving back, and empowering others has served me well during my first term on the Schoolcraft Board of Education.
I have a long history of volunteering within our schools and community, most notably as PTO President for six years prior to joining the School Board. I currently serve as Pack 250 Cubmaster, Troop 251 Treasurer, and SHS Band Booster Vice President.
My “why” is simple: I want to be involved in my children’s education and make a positive impact in our community. If elected to a second term, I will continue encouraging growth, collaboration, achievement, and long-term sustainability while advocating for the safety, well-being, and education of every student. I am proud of what we have accomplished and excited about where Schoolcraft is headed.
