The Vicksburg varsity soccer team is 1-9 this year but has had some strong showings against much tougher teams.
“They executed really well in the second half,” Head Coach Lahou Boulnemour said after a 4-0 loss to Plainwell at home. “We still have a ways to go, but I think it is tremendous progress from the beginning of the year.”
A key for much of the rest of this season will be improving play at midfield to take some pressure off the defenders. Boulnemour has been working hard on getting back to the basics this season and trying to instill these basic, vital skills in the younger players.
