Ron Kramer, Western Michigan University sociology professor and a lifetime baseball fan, will hold forth on the social history of baseball, race relations and labor issues down through the years of major league play. His talk is especially timely as the World Series draws near. His presentation is part of the Vicksburg Historical Society’s speakers’ series at the Vicksburg Community Center on Tuesday, October 17 at 7 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
