Quick and easy stir-fry; choose your ingredients

by | Aug 2022 | Community

A great way to use those garden vegetables!

Heat one T oil in a wok or large fry pan.

Add meat (if desired) and brown.

Then add vegetables which take longer to cook — celery, onions, carrots, etc.

Then add quick-cooking vegetables (like pepper, zucchini, summer squash, cabbage, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc.)

In separate bowl, whisk: ¼ C soy sauce, 3 T brown sugar, ½ C broth (vegetable, chicken, or beef), 1 T minced garlic, 1 t corn starch, and 1 t sesame oil

Pour over vegetables, stir and simmer 5 minutes, then serve over rice or noodles.
