Audubon “Owls” Presentation –Wednesday, July 10, 6-7 p.m. Russ Schippers presents his informative show on owls. Russ will bring in taxidermy specimens and we’ll have a fun-related activity.
Teen Break & Bulldog Break – A safe space for teens and tweens to get together and have fun. Crafts, games, social activities, and tasty treats are for people under 18! Thursday, July 11 and 25 at 2:45-5:45 p.m. at Vicksburg Library.
Vicksburg Historic Village movie and library giveaway – children’s movie, Christmas in July. Optional: Bring a blanket and picnic. Friday. July 12, the movie starts at dusk.

ROZ PUPPETS Presents “The Mystery of Cacklewood Forest”, an original production. – Wednesday July 17, 6-7 p.m. An original tale about a little mouse who sets off on a grand adventure into a mysterious realm that everyone seems to avoid. Are the stories true? What mystery awaits our brave little mouse? Find out in this fun adventure story!
Touch a Truck – Friday, July 19, 10-11 a.m., preschoolers;11 a.m.-noon, Elementary. Fire truck, police car, ambulance, school bus, construction trucks and more. Held at the Vicksburg Historic Village parking lot.
Teen Intro to Card Making – Tuesday, July 23, 1:30-2:30 p.m. Come and learn about card crafting with our resident artist, Sue Smink. All materials provided and you take home the cards you create. Register by July 16 by calling library @ 649-1648. Limited to the first 20 participants.

Vicksburg Library at the Vicksburg Farmer’s Market – Friday, July 26, 2-6 p.m. All ages are welcome to stop by and make a fun, quick craft with us! We’ll also have handouts and information about our Youth Summer Reading Programs and current library activities. We’ll be at the Farmer’s Market the last Friday of each month from 2-6 p.m., May through September.
July – A month-long scavenger hunt to find Waldo in 25 Vicksburg businesses (including the library!) Pick up your passport at Gilbert & Ivy Bookstore and then attend the Wednesday July 24, 7 p.m. drawing at G&I.
