Part of the joy of living in Southwest Michigan is welcoming the next season, and beautiful October is here. Don’t you love fresh apples from a local orchard? The glorious orange of pumpkins? The colorful display of the hardwoods?
This is a big edition and one we are always proud of as we honor our fall athletic teams by including their pictures. We understand that we are one of a handful of papers that still do this, and with the help of our advertisers and readership partners, we can carry on this tradition. Thank you for your support. It means so much to the athletes and their families. Thanks also to administrative assistants Shannon McDonald and Kris DeVries for their help with supplying names and information.
We started our election coverage last month and continue it this month, including many candidates’ bios and photos. And, of course, we have included our usual coverage and columns. We hope you enjoy it.
