The Eagles welcomed the Falcons of Constantine for a conference match. The Falcons were 9-6-2 while the Eagles were 3-9. Schoolcraft started out hot, reaching a 12-7 lead when the Constantine bench called a timeout to try to get their players focused. The Falcons stormed back after the timeout and brought the match to their favor at 18-15. The Falcons were at game point 24-18 when Coach Smith called an Eagle timeout to talk strategy. The Falcons took the first game 25-20.

The second game did not see either team break away. Both teams stayed within 2-3 points of each other early on. At 16-14 Falcons, Schoolcraft called its first timeout of the 2nd game to catch their breath and talk about how the play had been going so far. The Eagles were down 24-16, game point, when they got some rhythm and brought it to 20-24, and Schoolcraft still had the serve.

A blocked spike by the Eagles, which hit very close to the line, was ruled out, giving the Falcons the win and a 2-0 game lead on a best of 5 match.

Game 3 was a must-win for the Eagles. Just like match 2, neither team had an advantage over the other. Points were traded back and forth. The Falcons opened a 4-point lead before either team took a time out to rest. The Falcons won the 3rd game 25-20.
