Wow! What a birthday!
I thought it would be a quiet time,
But I was treated by many good meals
Of course, it turned out fine.
The age of 99 has gone with the wind
Sort of like my favorite movie,
So many sweet friends are good to me
I feel like a queen bee!
My calendar was filled most days
With places to see and things to do,
Folks were generous, with each special meal
Thankful, is how it made me feel.
Being 100 years isn’t too bad
I’m still kickin’ and not too sad,
Everyone is so kind to me
Each card was exciting to see.
Hey, God! How about waiting a bit?
I may be ready when I’m 123!
