Kalamazoo County State Bank (KCSB) and its Board of Directors have announced promotion of Assistant Vice President Melissa “Missy” Pavlak to the position of branch administrator.

“I am extremely pleased to announce Missy’s promotion to branch administrator,” said Scott Hines, KCSB president and CEO. “The branch administrator role is critical to strengthening consistency and cohesion in processes across the organization. Missy’s deep knowledge of the bank, our products, and our core operating system will be instrumental in enhancing branch operations.”

Pavlak brings 30 years of service to the bank and has led the Operations Department for the past 16 years. “Throughout her tenure, she has successfully guided the department through numerous product changes, system upgrades, and process enhancements. Her steady leadership has ensured operational excellence while navigating the continual evolution of banking services and technology,” Hines said.

“The board and I are confident Missy will excel in this role,” Hines added. “We are fortunate to have a team of knowledgeable and motivated branch managers who will work alongside her as the position evolves. We look forward to continued improvements and greater consistency in operations across all branches.”

Founded in 1908, the bank is the oldest independently owned and operated community bank in Kalamazoo County, with offices in Schoolcraft, Mattawan and Vicksburg.
