Mary Frances Langdon, 101, Fulton, passed away March 8, 2026. She was born November 12, 1924, in Fulton, the daughter of Corliss and Bessie (Sherman) Weimer. A lifelong resident of Fulton, Mary Frances was a genuine farm girl who loved her animals, family, and chocolate, most likely in that order. She attended Fulton Elementary, before attending Athens High School, where she graduated with the class of 1942 alongside her future husband, Stanford Langdon. They were married April 16, 1951, at the Fulton Church where they settled on the family farm and raised their family. Mary Frances raised goats and chickens and enjoyed attending her grandkids’ sporting and school events. Her interests included sewing, reading, chocolate, and collecting loon figurines. Mary Frances remained an active member of the Fulton Christian Church throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, sister Doris Norton, and son-in-law Jack Miller. Mary Frances is survived by her children Debbie Miller, of Athens, Becky Langdon, of Fulton, Mark Langdon, of Fulton, and Andy (Kathy) Langdon, of Missouri; grandchildren Pastor Noah (Anne) Miller of Climax, Hannah (Mike) Klein of Athens, Abigail Norton of Athens, Matthew (Lindsay) Langdon of Missouri and Ashley Langdon of Tennessee; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
