Schoolcraft’s Hometown Pride Night returns

by | Sep 2026 | Schools

Friday, Oct. 9th, SHS vs. Watervliet HS.

After a glowing inaugural turnout last fall, Schoolcraft Community Schools is thrilled to announce the return of Hometown Pride Night – its second annual celebration. On Friday, October 9, community members, local shop owners, and Eagle fans will gather at Roy Davis Stadium to celebrate the unique businesses and organizations that make our town thrive.

The pre-game festival will feature about 40 local vendors, showcasing hometown brands, local services, and community partners right before the Eagles kick off their home football game.

Last year’s initial event set a high bar, drawing hundreds of local families to shop small, support local entrepreneurs, and show off their community spirit under the Friday night lights. Building on that foundation, this year’s setup promises a vibrant showcase of local pride. Whether grabbing food from local vendors, discovering new regional makers, or catching up with old neighbors, Hometown Pride Night will offer something for everyone in the family before Eagles kickoff against Watervliet.

Local businesses, organizations, and creators interested in securing a vendor space for this year’s event can register now by visiting the district website (schoolcraftschools.org) or contacting the event coordinator, Matt Webster at websterm@schoolcraftcs.org. With limited vendor spots available, organizers encourage local partners to reserve their space early to ensure our town’s best brands are front and center on October 9.
