Cub Scout Pack 251 planted trees at the Sunset Lake Park beach. The pack bought two crabapples and two pine bark maples and put them in the ground this spring with the help of their parents.

“It’s great to see community groups playing a role in maintenance/improvement of our parks.  The Village should find ways to promote the “adopt-a-park” concept,” according to Ron Smith, a village council member and next door neighbor to the park.
