Mary (Callis) Sinclair.

Mary (Callis) Sinclair, 93, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026 in Kalamazoo. She was born in Grand Rapids March 3, 1932 to Hannah (Bates) Callis and Thomas Callis. She grew up as the seventh of eight children and was especially close to her sister Shirley, now living in Sebring, Florida. She is Mary’s only surviving sibling. Mary was preceded in death by her siblings Robert , Raymond, Duane, and Richard Tompkins, Nicholas Callis, and Wilda (Walker) She graduated from Rockford High School in 1950, and married Robert “Bob” Sinclair, a loving union that lasted 71 years until Bob’s passing. They were blessed with three children: Robert (Barbara) Sinclair Jr., of Vicksburg, Brenda (Donald) Creager of Three Rivers, and Steve (Mary) Sinclair of Katy, Texas. Some of the greatest joys of Mary’s life were her seven grandchildren: Suzanne (Eric) Egeler, Donald Jr (Andrea) Creager, Stephanie (Roger) Brenton, Robert III (Rose) Sinclair, Dawn (Nick) Griffith, and Adam (Michelle) Sinclair and Arden Sinclair along with 17 great-grandchildren. Mary worked for several employers over the years, most notably First National Bank in Vicksburg, Franklin Hospital in Vicksburg, Vicksburg Community Schools, and the First Assembly of God in Kalamazoo. Mary enjoyed gardening, riding her bike, and making friends. Later in life, Mary discovered she loved computers and new technologies. Mary found her greatest fulfillment in her relationship with God and was a lifelong member of the Assemblies of God. Services have been held.
