I am trying to appreciate the beauty of the snow, but the bitter cold has made it hard to feel thankful. This winter reminds me of the winters of our childhood—snowy and cold.

Many photography students at VHS submitted entries to our 4th annual cover contest. I look forward to visiting my friend Tony Lindeman’s photography classroom, meeting the winners, and delivering extra copies of the South County News.

There you will find local obituaries in their entirety, a community calendar which many groups are beginning to use, and a bank of all our past features.
