Several groups are planning a sesquicentennial event Saturday October 15, 2022. This will be an afternoon into the evening affair with hours yet to be confirmed.
Village leaders are working with the Vicksburg Historical Society and the Depot Museum to “Bring the Museum to Downtown Vicksburg.”
Many store owners have committed to participate and more are joining.
The committee has plans for food trucks, entertainment, and family activities. The celebration will take place on Prairie and Main Streets in downtown Vicksburg.
